Responsible Research Statement

Prism Biosciences supplies analytically characterized compounds to researchers. We are a materials and analytics company, not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or advise on human use, and we decline business that depends on us doing so. Holding that line is what makes our documentation worth trusting.

This statement is not marketing copy. It describes operating rules that bind our commercial, scientific, and support teams, and staff are expected to escalate rather than improvise when a request falls outside them.

Every catalog item, protocol chart, mechanism summary, and specification sheet exists to support laboratory investigation. Dosing schedules shown in protocol charts describe study design parameters reported in the peer-reviewed literature — they are not instructions, regimens, or recommendations for any person. Research-use language appears on the product page, in the cart, on the packing slip, and on the vial label, so the classification is never something a buyer has to go looking for.

• We describe mechanisms of action; we do not promise outcomes.
• We cite pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic parameters from published literature and label them as such, including the model system in which they were measured.
• We distinguish in-vitro, animal, and human findings, and we do not extrapolate across them.
• We publish no testimonials, before-and-after imagery, star ratings, countdown timers, scarcity banners, or efficacy claims.
• We state certifications and accreditation scopes only where they are held and verifiable, and never imply approvals we do not have.
• We correct errors publicly. If a published figure is wrong, we amend the page and note the change rather than quietly editing it.

Purchasers attest at every checkout that material will be handled by trained personnel in an appropriate research setting and will not be administered to humans or animals. We may request institutional confirmation, a principal-investigator contact, or a laboratory delivery address before release. We cancel and refund orders where the stated purpose falls outside research use, and we decline to reinstate accounts that attest falsely.

Purity is measured, not asserted. Each released lot carries HPLC purity and identity confirmation tied to a batch identifier that any customer can look up, and the release date is published alongside the result so the data can be aged honestly rather than presented as timeless.

Lots that fail specification are quarantined and destroyed rather than downgraded, blended, or re-tested until they pass. We do not sell material without a certificate, and we do not edit a certificate after release; a correction is issued as a superseding document with both versions retained.

We provide storage, reconstitution, and stability guidance so material is handled correctly and waste is minimized, and we ship under validated cold-chain packaging with excursion reporting. Researchers remain responsible for local biosafety approval, personal protective equipment, sharps handling, and disposal of unused material and packaging under applicable regulations. We would rather replace a compromised shipment than have a questionable vial used in an experiment.

• Requests for dosing advice, protocols for personal use, or any medical guidance.
• Affiliate, influencer, or referral arrangements that imply human benefit or reward volume.
• Orders to jurisdictions where supply or import would be unlawful, or to parties on restricted-party lists.
• Custom labelling, unbranded shipments, or documentation changes intended to disguise the nature of the material.

Report a compliance concern, a documentation discrepancy, or a suspected misuse of our brand to compliance@prismbio.co. We acknowledge substantive reports within two business days, investigate with the analytical records for the lots involved, and act on verified findings — including customer notification and recall of affected lots where warranted. Reports may be made anonymously, and we do not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
